In 1989, after months of research and with the
help of Nancy D.Simmons (Great Dane Club of El Paso and All-Breed Judge), we found
a wonderful breeder in our area and bought our first mantle great dane. We still enjoy and treasure our
friendship with this breeder, Candace E. Wolf, DDS and Paseo's Great Danes.
Over the last
18 years we have served in the El Paso Great Dane Club on
the *Board
of Director, the
*President,
*Secretary,
*Treasurer,
*Webmaster,
*Show Chair
*and Show Secretary.
We are active members of
the Delta Society's Therapy Assistance Dog Group, "Paws For Love" in El Paso and Evaluator/Screener
for new teams. I teach basic obedience classes and puppy classes
at a local obedience training center and I am a evaluator
for the AKC CGC program. We are active membersof the local all Breed Club, the Oñate Trail Dog Fanciers Association.
Our dogs are "Working Dogs"!
competing in the conformation ring and the obedience
ring.
All our dogs
are now and have been in the past certified
therapy assistance dogs and work in Schools and Nursing
homes. Two of our present danes are also blood donors for the El Paso Animal Emergency Clinic. Parker works as a Volunteer
and Mascot at the Franklin Mountain State Park. You will
find us and our dogs actively involved in our community and
we are regularly invited to participate in fund raisers and
other events.
We only "play" with agility
course and equipment to build confidence in our puppies
and young adults.
We
do not have a kennel nor do we operate any kennel facilities.
We only breed a litter occasionally and the only reason is to keep a puppy for ourselves and to
improve our bloodline and our breeding program. Please read our breeding
and placement policy page for more information.
Thank you for your interest in our pack.
